We have been live on Allscripts for 4 years, with only a Help Desk for support. Utilizing Live Chat has given us another method by which we can assist and educate our users. Before Live Chat, our users had to pick up the phone and call the Help Desk, navigating a series of prompts, before they could get assistance from the Help Desk. With Live Chat, they can click a link on the vertical toolbar, and chat directly with a member of the support team. In addition, Live Chat allows us to shadow our users, which has been a huge benefit, as it’s often difficult to describe issues over the phone.
The implementation process for Live Chat was seamless, and training our users was achieved with a few simple screenshots in a newsletter. The product is well-designed and the support that we received from EHR Concepts was excellent. We rarely had issues with the system, but on the few occasions that we did, we were able to get in touch with their support and get the problem fixed quickly – usually within the hour.
If you are struggling with finding ways to support your users, I highly recommend Live Chat. Great product, great company!
